*to the original topic post* I have personally found Hala as a whole to be very rich in character, and fulfilling to play on. When my main first came here (for the second time) after the portal reopened it was just to explore, but soon after which, he was drawn in and made to feel apart of the world...

I had the same thing occur, tried recasting, resting, logging and going between servers, nothing seemed to clear it. Fixed by portaling to another world and then directly back. *shrugs*
