Unless you have a fix for NWN bug whereby it doesn't always check the character's full inventory when seeing what the PC has in their bags, I recommend the 'dump items onto table' option. Every so often, I have trouble with one host or another. When this happens I switch hosts for a while. I am currently using irc.gamers-inc.org (port 6667).

I stick with top down, and generally use a lower camera when I'm out socializing or interacting with a single individual, but zoom out and up a bit when I'm fighting, because I find it difficult to use some area spells when I'm looking over the character's shoulder.

When I can't see servers, I check my friends list to see if they are on the server I want to be on, and can often connect that way.

I've never had a problem where I couldn't direct connect as well, though.

My character likes 1 use tokens and things of invisibility. This is to drop on other people, rather then to use on oneself, thus why the potion doesn't work.

I always thought it was intentional too... I cannot tell you how many times I was trapped in there, between that gate to the lower quarters and the outside door.
