Banishment doesn't send anything away.. it makes the pretty lights and the sounds .. and even does the returning pretty lights and sunds but whomever and whatever that was supposed to be banished never leaves... the backfire fail works.. I have sent myself away.. but the fail script is bugged.. i ge...
