Question about Psion PSP totals

Hi All. I was reading through the Psion wiki, and I came across something about how a Psion's PSP's are figured. I can't make sense of it when I compare it to what I am seeing IG, so I was curious if anyone knew more about it and could clarify for me. The Wiki says that a Psion's PSP's are figured u...

Seamus still has the Mantle of the ages (cloak). It's basically the same power as regular battle bands (10 DR against physical damage). It's only been updated once, so I guess it still technically has a 'final form' waiting in the wings.

I had an NVidia card in my PC and it was the biggest pain in the arse. I couldn't run NWN for almost a year as I had to get new graphics card. AVI (I think that's right I can't remember what is currently in there) runs much better. My lovely wife means an ATI card, and yes, the Nvidia card drivers ...

It was once joked IC that Seamus has a story for every piece of equipment he owns except his socks. While this is nearly true, some of those items hold special meaning for him. Two of the most recognizable (and most memorable for me as a player) are listed below. http://img804.imageshack.us/img804/9...

For those at Brynja's lesson tonight:

Here's a great example of the senses playing tricks on the mind. It's called the McGurk effect. Watch. It's very neat!

Stupid fool got in trouble cause he lied to them. Seamus is always up front about such things.

Besides, anything more than three is just asking for trouble

A few thoughts. Many of these have appeared here before, so I'll keep them brief. First: YAY!! love to see new crafting ideas being bandied about. Kudos to anyone willing to do the hard scripting to make this happen! On Mining/ Gathering Keep your variables simple. Example: Mining veins, make them a...

That's a good test, thanks. It looks like Damage resistance is working correctly. Can you run something similar with Damage immunity, maybe set up for 0% 50% 100% immunity from each and see what happens? Might also want to check damage vulnerability. I have a feeling the problems Sinn ran into were ...

Easy to test, put an archer's belt on someone and whack them with a morning star ;) But seriously, if a person only has one type of DR (in the above case, piercing) then the weapon should do full damage, right? I know something's not right in the underground river because the creatures that should b...

Yeah, :( Dual damage types is supposed to be an advantage, but in NWN it doesn't work that way. If someone has resitance to either type of damage their resistance will work. It should only work if the person is resistant to both types of damage. Unfortunately, I'm not sure anything can be done about...

Something else is going on here. I mined a bunch of Mithril ore today. I put one in my shop and then tested it by placing some in the appraisal table. It only recognized one of those I placed on the table as being the same. These are all the same item from the same spawn, so I don't know what else m...

The real catch to this is, if a warrior has taken on the attitude of "oh well, dead again, I'll just come back tomorrow." then they are definitely in disgrace because no one with that attitude is giving it their all. Or, perhaps they grew up hearing stories about the afterlife that awaite...

It's stranger than that.. Each individual psion seems to have been stuck with a different side effect. Seamus gets glowing eyes for every power. This is over and above the other VFX that go off (like the shower of red and yellow for psionic residue) Whatever it is, it's not consistent across all the...

Even at level 8, A Con drop of as little as 3 points could result in the loss of 16hp. When you only come back with 10, you can see what would happen.

When the penalties are applied, anyone greater than 10th level is going to get dropped to bleeding every time they are brought back. Con drop of 5 means -2 or -3 hp per level. If you've only got 10hp when you come back, you'd just die again. Even a Con drop of -1 could potentially be lethal to a hig...
