There is a temporary workround for this. You order the familiar to stay where it is and move away to a spot where it will take a short while to reach you. Cast it CMT spell and quickly select the right option before the familiar arrives as it will race towards you. If it's far enough away to begin ...

Not sure if this is known... Create Magic Tattoo spell does not work on either server when a familiar is summoned. It seems to have something to do with the dialogue box where when you choose what magic you want the tattoo to hold, it is being canceled out when you're getting the message that you've...
