Re: Just so you know

They've extended the rehab for mum to the 17th and for dad.. meds haven't worked yet to stabilize his heart so they are doing some sort of electric shock procedure tomorrow. :(

Re: Just so you know

Thanks!

So far the news is they were able to stabilize Dad enough to move him to his own room. I do not yet know the results of the other tests, but it does "feel" better that he's in a room in the hospital and not in the ER anymore.

Re: Just so you know

Thanks. Finally got a hold of my dad. They are not going to admit him to the hospital until the ER team can stabilize his heart rate and his blood pressure, both of which are very high and erratic. Apparently they are concerned about potential congestive heart failure and some blood clots. I will ho...

Re: Just so you know

As some of you already know, I spent all day Friday in the ER with my adopted mom. The end result of that: she did fracture her hip when she fell, but will not need surgery. Saturday she was moved to rehab where she will be 7 to 10 days. I spent most of Sunday sleeping. I just got a phone call to sa...

Re: Undead Questions

There are class specific forums you can join. There is one race-specific forum (Drow).

Otherwise, the "tavern" posts for Shattered Burg are considered OOC if you're "good" or not there In Game.

Is that what you mean?

Re: Undead Questions

Context is king.

Generally speaking negative energy in a positive energy plane can definitely irk certain gods, characters, and NPCs...like most of them. So yes, Tread carefully

As for your other question, as far as I know that is find out in game !!

Be careful not to attach meaning of lore Learned about the positive energy plane of ysgard with somehow Anybody telling you your character was illegal, because that was -not- the conversation. she's no more illegal then a necromancer or shaggy's realm or a mage being able to summon negative energy s...

Three things - "courtesy rule" reminders

The following items have come up enough lately they are starting to turn into fun-drains. Thought I'd say something so they might be clarified, Either to me so I can adjust my own expectations or be of a help if not: 1) I can't seem to find a link, but the last I knew only DMs can require and interp...

Re: PC Theme Music

When I saw this video this morning, I thought of Egil and Nerice: both absolute masters at their individual craft, equally matched, his light and calm to her dark and fury, altogether better together… and, Of course, expressing their mutual love and respect pretty much only through the sound of sile...

Re: Independent Familiar Actions?

Not that I've noticed. Usually it's pretty clear the Caster has to be involved in some sort of way in order to be fully connected with all actions in game. Whether that's a story/lore thing or a game mechanic thing or both, I don't know. The general common rule of thumb for NWN is if it is not a bug...

there seems be a general "not for sure" answer when I asked, but it did seem LN (Lori) would make sense with the god. If nothing else, I'll post here when I know from experience. 8)

Re: headed out of town

See. See the disadvantage of being friendly? I think I'd have made the same assumption, that those warnings and the information meant I should try to assume that identity, but as a grumpy sod I'd have just been wandering around looking at exhibits rather than talking to people. So I'd have played a...
