The quick fix was to give items minimal caster level of the spell. I need to have a look at a more permanent fix.

I cleaned up more code: the Companion Training System.

I can't really test it .. since i have no experience with the system.
So I have to ask you all to test it and tell me the bugs.

ok .. looks to be a bug after all. Hidden, the caster level is set to 20.

the spell is either party only or works on enemies and allies. If its party friendly then it will never harm undead.

I'll leave it as it is and classify it as not a bug.

Sorry not a bug. The old version was bugged.

Darkfire is now turn/level, +1 per 4 levels and then apply militant bonus. The crystal in itself only gives +1.

It's live now ... and you get my messages that "new spellhooking code triggered".
