Einar just encountered the same thing. I turned invisible and evaded them after throwing one punch. So, suppose they'll still be there for a bit.

Custom Race Language Oddities
Hiya, So, I've already mostly incorporated this into my affected characters. Still, another player suggested I report it. (Specifically, Garth suggested I report it after I mentioned it last night.) Custom race characters don't seem to get the right languages. This seems true for characters made on ...

Thanks for the Swift trouble shooting and fix!
Side Note, am I the only person who thought of this incident after reading that a switch failure was responsible?

Well, if you'd like to do a revisit of Odin's Reach when you're able, I for one would be happy to repeat the trip!

Even when the drop is from a bag direct to the ground (shouldn't it default to putting in inventory instead?) And was in a transition point so retrieval is impossible?ambrosia wrote:Dropped items are not bugs.

Re: Lost Book
It's a book that grants +3 lore when held. Think it got dropped in an area Transition in or near Mithro's craft center. The other book I lost gave +3 lore, +3 appraise. But I don't remember it's title or know how it was lost.

No Skins or Meat?!
Ok, so.
No matter how many animals I kill, not one of them drops skin or meat! Character is irrelevant, animal type irrelevant. (Though mostly been hitting deer and pigs.)
And, this includes the two skin related quests I know of:
Wolves (Ulth Nord) and Displacer Beasts...

Lost Book
Hi.
Umm... Einar just dropped his copy of Maldander's Catalogue of Marvelous Things. In or near Teron's Workshop.
Can't find it.
Suppose I could post IC about it, but... Gah. Second time I've lost a +Lore book! (First one, I didn't notice til well after the fact. On Arkaz.)

Multiple board accounts?
So... I've noticed that I'm producing enough PM traffic to over extend my inbox limit. What are the rules for multiple board accounts? And, (assuming they aren't forbidden) any tips on making my adoption of one or more minimally disruptive? (i.e. switch of IC posts for Einar, say from this account t...

Re: Skill Mechanics Question
I know 12 is the cap for enhancement bonuses to each ability score. Thought the skill cap was higher. (I actually hit that cap on Einar for Str with bull's sometimes.) Also not sure if it's different for CoPaP vs. vanilla NwN... (hence not simply googling it. ;) ) Edit: +50?! Wow! That's way higher ...

Skill Mechanics Question
Hiya,
So... My understanding is that skill bonuses from items have a cumulative cap. Is that right? If so, what's the cap?
And, does the bonus from a heal kit count against that cap?
And what about feat/class feature bonuses? Are those counted?
Thanks for the info!

(not so) mad cows
So... Just noticed: the Hangate cows don't seem so aggressive. I've heard other (stronger) druids than Einar say they cannot tame them. So... Is this a bug, or is Einar just that good with animals?

Re: A plea from a person with iffy eyesight
Ummm... Since I'd chosen light Blue for Richy, sometimes... And use tiny text for ooc stuff.
I apologise.
(Light blue and purple are just two of the easiest colors to get to work via my phone's touchscreen, lol.)
