Character Creator broken?

I tried creating a Wood Elf today and it didnt work. It booted me off the server when i came back the only thing that had changed was a "Wood Elf Travelers Robe" was added to my inventory. None of my stats changed and my race still reads "elf."

The Subrace Creator is a external application that needs sometimes a small kick, i am sure it will be working again as soon someone gets to it

Peng Beazell'iiazaal sent me a tell saying he'd tried to create a tiefling, and got the outfit, but was not morphed into a tiefling.

same thing happened to my attempt at a tiefling several months ago.it was my understanding that the character customizer outage had caused it.don't know if that helps any.

What exactly is meant by "morphed"? Did the player expect a model change? Or did they not get the correct resistances?

I know that Arkaz has had similar problems with Aasimar and Tieflings. They do not get the resistances nor the Light or Darkness each race is supposed to have.

I was told the Light and Darkness was a widget that that characters were supposed to get. Neither of my Hala created Aasimar have this widget to create light. The way I got my resistances was to planes hop (IE portal to Arkaz or Avlis and then back to Hala).

when i attempted a tiefling those few months ago,i got a standard,strangely coloured elf with a tiefling clothing set.i don't remember any changes in resistances,etc.hopethis helps.
