Uniewienia Teglennolen (The Mage's Best Friend) rreets my PC with a..

"Hello there. I'm sorry, you do not seem to be a mage so I don't think I have anything you'd be interested in."

How does she know!?

Actually, i have no idea if this is a PC owned p-merch or a bio-merch, but as far as i know there is no such spell as ~detect arcane caster~
.. but all this aside, surely as a store (assuming this is a functioning store) they would sell their goods to whoever came?

I know some places restrict entry/sales to good/evil alignments, but these make IC sense. I can't see the sense in this NPC's response: either she's a psychic witch, or a dreadful meta-gamer!

It's not a store and she doesn't need detect arcane caster. She won't do anything unless you show her your familiar.

Bah.. this kind of places aren't unheard of. There's a place on Avlis that only sells to Druids and Rangers.
