Skill Mechanics Question

Hiya,

So... My understanding is that skill bonuses from items have a cumulative cap. Is that right? If so, what's the cap?
And, does the bonus from a heal kit count against that cap?

And what about feat/class feature bonuses? Are those counted?

I believe the cap is 12? So you can only get to plus 12 in anything with items. The bonuses you already have from your feats and classes and etc. do not count in this total, I think? But spells do count, I think. Don't take my word as gospel, though; I suck at game mechanics. But somebody will soon post to correct me. :)

+50 for skills, and your total skill rank can never get over 127.
And everything giving bonuses stacks yes.

I know 12 is the cap for enhancement bonuses to each ability score. Thought the skill cap was higher. (I actually hit that cap on Einar for Str with bull's sometimes.)

Also not sure if it's different for CoPaP vs. vanilla NwN...
(hence not simply googling it. ;) )

Edit: +50?! Wow! That's way higher than I thought!
