Curious about the Ice Palace

Post by Gregpooh » Mon Jun 11, 2007 7:20 pm

This is just something I've always wondered about.

The Spawn Triggers and Spawn Points in the Ice Palace are either very close to each other, or right on top of each other. This causes the monsters to appear, at times, litterally right in the middle of a party. What I am wondering is whether there was a particular IC effect this was supposed to simulate? Are the montsters hiding in the snow? Is it bad visibility from blizzard-like conditions, or are the creatures simply appearing out of thin air?

Personally, I always go with the 'hiding in ambush' explanation. I'm just curious to here the Dev's take on things.

Thanks.
