This is old stuff, but it still says it for me.

Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity

Oh yeah what were living in (let me tell ya)
It a wonder man can eat at all
When things are big
That should be small
Who can tell what magic spells well be doing for us.
And Im giving all my love to this world
Only to be told
I cant see, I cant breathe
No more will we be
And nothings gonna change the way we live
Cos we can always take and never give
And now that things are changing for the worse,
See, its a crazy world were living in
And I just cant see that half of us immersed in sin
Is all we have to give these

Futures made of virtual insanity
Now always seem, to be governed by this love we have
For useless, twisting of our new technology
Oh now theres no sound for we all live underground

And Im thinking in what a mess were in
Hard to know when to begin
If I could slip the sicly ties that earthly man has made
And now every mother can choose the color of her child
Thats not natures way
Well thats what they said yesterday
Theres nothing left to do but pray
I think its time I found a new religion
Waoh its so insane to synthesize another strain
Theres something in these futures that we have to be told.

Futures made of virtual insanity
Now always seem, to be governed by this love we have
For useless, twisting of our new technology

Oh now theres no sound for we all live underground
Now theres no sound if we all live underground
And now its virtual insanity
Forget your virtual reality
Oh, theres nothing so bad, I know yeah
Instrumental break
Oh, this virtual insanity, were living in,
Has got to change, yeah
Things will never be the same
And I cant go on
While were living in oh, oh virtual insanity
Oh, this world has got to change
Cos I just, I just cant keep going on, it was virtual,
Virtual insanity that were living in, that were living in
That virtual insanity is what it is

Futures made of virtual insanity
Now always seem, to be governed by this love we have
For useless, twisting of our new technology
Oh theres no sound for we all live underground

Living - virtual insanity
Living - virtual insanity
Living - virtual insanity
Living - virtual insanity

Virtual insanity is what were living in
Rust never Sleeps.
Nothing is what Rocks Dream of.

Brynja: Careful with That Axe, Eugene
I very much like this music for her. Youtube should turn up Pink Floyd playing it, if you think you might like to hear it.

With a change in her out look, Morgan needs a change of song. So…
Samael: Shining Kingdom
I see this as a song about someone who has been looking for something and eventually looked inside themselves for answers.

And Grovel… I was listening to some random music on the way to work last week and something came up that made me think YES! This is what I want for Grovel.
The theme to Enter The Dragon! Oh yes! Grovel could so be Bruce Lee and you know it. All that funk and jive and kung-fu. Grovel may have to multi class….
Grovel puts the P in swimming pool.

Hmmmmm.... mind you, not that Tinker could carry tune in a bucket with a lid nailed down on it, but... heh. I'd say she had a couple songs, really....

October Project -- Paths Of Desire

I have traveled the paths of desire
gathering flowers and carrying fire
Raising a grave to the reasons behind me
Looking for strength as you live to remind me
I'm drawn to you
I'm caught in you

I am the fly who dreams of the spider
The path to the web becomes deeper and wider
I dream of the silk that is tangled inside you
And know that I want to be somewhere beside you
I'm drawn to you
I'm caught in you

In your eyes, All of the promises. All the lies
Will you keep all the promises In your eyes?

I am crossing the bridges of sorrow
Empty with yearning and full of tomorrow
The river is high and the bridges are burning
I know I've been hurt but I keep on returning
I'm drawn to you
I'm caught in you

In your eyes, All of the promises. All the lies
Will you keep all the promises In your eyes?

I have traveled the paths of desire
following smoke and remembering fire
The night is falling, the path is receding
I don't need to see it to know where it's leading

In your eyes, All of the promises. All the lies
Will you keep all the promises In your eyes?

The Indigo Girls -- Hand Me Downs

Ive taken so many down
Ive helped them all to dismount
Ive followed so many down
I take their hand me downs

All with hope, All with hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
All with hope, All with hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
To us all

Everything that I believe, Crawls from underneath the streets
Everything I truly love, Comes from somewhere far above
Everything that I believe Is wrong with you is wrong with me
Everything I truly love, I love in you and I love in me

So give me hope, Give me hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
To us all

You swear you cant swim the river,But I saw you running to jump in
I swore Id never be your sinner, Til I held your sin
Hand me downs

Now you ask me why Im here
The same as you, Im scared - its fear
Ive become the beggar now, And youve become the saint somehow
Twist the words and place the blame, And tell me now arent we the same
Tripping in our yellow feet, Checking underneath our sheets

For some hope, Give me hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
Give me hope, Give me hope
That emptiness brings fullness
And loss of love brings wholeness
To us all

The full song from Gildan's Sig quote. Fits him pretty well, even though it is (gasp!) a country song. Forgive me.

Good As I Once Was, by Toby Keith:

She said, "I've seen you in here before."
I said, "I've been here a time or two."
She said, "Hello, my name is Bobby Jo
meet my twin sister Betty Lou
And we're both feeling kinda wild tonight
And you're the only cowboy in this place
And if you're up for a rodeo
I'll put a big Texas smile on your face."
I said, "Girls,"

[Chorus]
I aint as good as I once was
I got a few years on me now
But there was a time, back in my prime
When I could really lay it down
And if you need some love tonight
Then I might have just enough
I ain't as good as I once was
But I'm as good once, as I ever was

I still hang out with my best friend Dave
I've known him since we were kids at school
last night he had a few shots
Got in a tight spot, hustlin' a game of pool
With a couple of redneck boys
One great big bad biker man
I heard David yell across the room
"Hey buddy, how 'bout a helping hand?"
I said, "Dave,"

[Chorus]
I aint as good as I once was
My, how the years have flown
But there was a time, back in my prime
When I could really hold my own
But if you wanna fight tonight
Guess those boys dont look all that tough
I aint as good as I once was
But I'm as good once, as I ever was

I used to be hell on wheels
Back when I was a younger man
Now my body says, "You can't do this, boy"
But my pride says, "Oh, yes you can!"

I ain't as good as I once was
That's just the cold hard truth
I still throw a few back, talk a little smack
When I'm feelin bullet proof
So don't double dog dare me now
'Cause I'd have to call your bluff

I ain't as good as I once was
But i'm as good once, as I ever was
May not be good as I once was
But i'm as good once, as I ever was
Gildan: "I'm not as good as I once was, but i'm as good once as I ever was."

"I'm stubborn as those garbage bags that time cannot decay; I'm junk, but I'm still holding up this little wild bouquet." -Leonard Cohen, "Democracy"

I have two songs to add for Aria and Luke.

"Happiness" from the movie "Scrooge"

They say happiness is a thing you can't see
A thing you can't touch
I disagree
Happiness is standing beside me
I can see him
He can see me
Happiness is whatever you want it to be
Happiness is a high hill
Will I find it?
Yes, I will
Happiness is a tall tree
Can I climb it?
Watch and see
They say happiness is the folly of fools
Pity poor me
One of the fools
Happiness is smiling upon me
Walking my way
Sharing my day
Happiness is whatever you want it to be
Happiness is a bright star
Are we happy?
Yes, we are
Happiness is a clear sky
Give me wings and let me fly
Let me fly
For happiness is whatever you want it to be
Yes, happiness is whatever you want it to be
