Again.

Maybe a select few of you remember the horrible plague that was brought down upon these unsuspecting Hala forums on the last date that Imp lost her entire hard drive.. mwuahhahahahaaa.

But I already went through that phase.

Yeah, uhh, I dunno, the very night I got home from Michigan it was running smooth.. I even got in NwN for a bit and some of you may've seen me log in and out of IRC. Then it just died. Ptthhb. It is a very old computer. I'm going to try to save some of the info on it and I'd really just like to get a whole new comp. If I'm lucky I can borrow one for now and just have net access. If I reformat, maaybe NwN.

After two weeks in africa, a day at home before being whisked off to a week in Michigan, and coming home to no net or anything at all when I just want to chill...

I hope you can somewhat imagine my frustration. :O

Besides that..

I managed to borrow a computer with perfect net access.. I'll see about installing NwN on it. Things aren't nearly as inconvenient and torturous as they were last time. :D

I successfully installed NwN, and SoU.. but my HotU disc seems to be absolutely retarded. I do have a diamond copy of NwN around here somewhere but it'll be a bitch to find and I want mine NOW.

And besides that

Perhaps I deserve a special forum title regarding my post count and join date.. ;) >.>

Went to Best Buy and got the last Diamond Edition of NwN. Installed, and now I just have to download haks, except I'm sure I've got to get all that aurora and seacave junk and if I have trouble with that, I'll come to you guys. ;)

The latest version of CEP 1 has files titled Cep1patch168, but Hala haks, according to the player housing hakpak list only requires:
cep1patch153
cep1patch152
cep1patch150

Which are the haks from the previous CEP 1 version, Here. And it says...
DOWNLOAD v1.53 patch (.RAR) This is the CEP patch v1.53 (RAR Format) for Windows users, Mac and Linux (RAR format, 1 MB). This patch will update your CEP to v1.53, which works with NWN v1.67. (instructions are included).
Does that mean it will work with 1.68?

And does that mean the latest version of CEP 1.. (1patch168) won't work with Hala? Assumedly because I wouldn't have the correctly named files.[/quote]
