Scheduling for Brynja's next adventure

Post by Rudiki »

I know the Mama dragon said one week or she burns the Airships, but Derica and bciphoto can't make an event next Saturday; would it be possible to schedule for another date? OK if not, obviously! Thanks!

It's me who likely won't be able to go then, if we change the date. =(

Oh well!

Either date is alright with me.

If this week I would need to leave before the end unless it was quicker or we started earlier. To give you an idea of the times, we started at 9am my time and I need to look at logging off around 10am.

If next week I can arrange a play time extension with the boss (Mrs Zombie)

I will double check if I am playing on my Sunday evening. I would prefer that Yana can make it, as she has been more involved in the plot.

Depends on DM availability though!

CONFIRMED I am gaming this sunday evening (my time) which would mean I would have to log off at my 10am if we were to play this weekend (im on gmt +12)

So I can be available for either early start this weekend or normal start next.

Sorry for being pains in the butt guys.... Sunday anytime works for us. Saturday we have a wedding to photograph, otherwise, we'd be open then too.

Can Yana and bciphoto and Derica all make it the Saturday after this coming Saturday? If so, that would solve it.

ummm... well... I have to go with Zombie time for this week. Next Saturday the 31st, I have something tentatively planned...

I could make it this saturday as early as 1700GMT ((which is 5 am (sunday) Zombie time, and 1pm Yana/Lexy time(saturday) on the east coast, 10am on the west coast))

Sorry guys, the next couple of weeks my schedule is nutso!

You don't really desperately need the comic relief from Legs.. If I can't make it, just assume she's watching you from every corner that you turn.

Nope... heading into busy season where Saturdays are usually booked up. If we can't make it, its alright..... the story goes on without us.

I'm up for an earlier start this Saturday, if that works, so that Zombie can log off at 10 am his time and not rush through the event.

The Saturday after that (31st), I'll either be at my parents' out of town or on the road to there, so day-time game time is far far far from being a certainty. When I'm over there, evenings are better. But this one has to be Saturday afternoon, Eastern time, which is Sunday morning for Zombie.

That said, we can't always please everyone on time/dates of events. I say go with the date when most people can make it and/or those who are most involved/most important for the plot can make it.

I'd hate to miss it, as I've worked on the plot, but if I can't make it, then tough noogies. Miellyana will be carving her magpies in Mirtho, impatiently waiting for news, or something.

Given all of the above, what's the official verdict? And thanks for considering this!

Jayem missed the first (Orcs) because of my computer virus problems and the third because of 18:00 to 22:00 my-time being the worst time of any day for me to make, and 20:00 being perfectly in the middle of it. So he has not really been involved in the plot and this is fairly irrelevant.

But 17:00 GMT this Saturday I might be able to make, stepping on my bad time by an hour-ish at its start.

Alternatively UK clocks go to Summer Time this Sunday so after that for the next six months 20:00 GMT would become 21:00 my-time. So I might be able to step on my bad time by an hour at the end of it (but be that hour less able to step on the start of it).

Perfectly happy though to just keep listening to people and have Jayem nod sagely as he pretends to have any idea of what to suggest.

Looks like Akai won't be able to make it even though Egil would want to be there. :( Suggestions for good IC excuses for Egil are welcome! :)

Excuses:
A Dire Wolf bit his leg off and he had to wait for it to grow back.
His god sent him on a holy quest and told him the tower would be ‘taken care of’.
Brynja gave him the wrong day because she was worried he would punch people who had information she wanted.
Nerice needed some tending to….
Fearing a punch in the face, the owner of the tower sent Egil a dream indicating Sara-Sue was lost in the ‘Dead World’ maze so he hurried there to find her.
A hoard of Githyanki appeared out of the astral plane to sack the TOIW and he spent all his time fighting them off.
The Fey Queen seized an opportunity to mess with him and enspelled him with a powerful sleep.
Tiamat sent a huge dragon to eat him. It took a while to punch his way out.

...or a shelf from one of Scel's bookcases got loose and fell on his head as Egil was running after a mischevious kitten who stole one of his socks and zoomed in the library...

Jayem will be there, barring misfortune, though he'd be making excuses and departing again promptly once things are done. And I think it would have to be all of Scel's bookcases falling from the top of the tower before Egil would do more than say "Hm. Did summat fall on me? Not sure."
