PSPs not returned when resting

Post by Gurky_Bogglewig »

Type of Bug/Exploit:
A goblin psion I've made doesn't seem to be regenerating PSPs when he rests.

Edit: Name is Gumgo the Grave, gamespy is Harry_Hammerwell

Attributes:
STR - 12
DEX - 10
CON - 14
WIS - 16
INT - 15
CHA - 7

Powers:
Enhanced Strength
Expansive Mind I

Area of Bug Exploit (be as specific as possible):
Most areas I've played him in, including Mirtho rest and the Beetle caverns.

Timestamp on when it happened:
10-11 July 2006

Frequency of occurance:
I've tested his PSPs every time after he rests. Since he's only level 2, he's able to rest all the time.

I'm not certain whether other psions have the same problem as I've not met any IG yet. Hope this helps!

Yup, It'll work after you are level 4.
I mentioned this to Arkon well over a year ago, he said it was being kept that way intentionally. ;)
He may not feel the same way anymore, though. Who knows?

And it all started when I updated Hala to 1.65 to include Psions... I suck at scripting.
I think, therefore I am right. QED.

No, Avlis has/had the same problem. It's in the actual psion code. The rest code for psions was jacked in that it wouldn't let you regain PsP until after you reached level 3 for some reason.

Actually it was my fault - there had to be a new script included in the rest code of COPAP and I put it in the wrong place in the rest code.

See here -http://copap.org/viewtopic.php?t=780&highlight= all my fault :(

AFAIK the code just needs one tweak
