Avlis portal.

As news is pretty well known about this, do NOT attempt to use the Avlis portal until further notice. Since their move there has been an issue and attempting to portal to Avlis breaks the rest of our portals to the other servers. There is a warning on the Avlis forums as well of this.

If there is no announcement by myself, or Themicles or another Avlis staff member regarding this issue being fixed, do NOT, and I repeat do NOT even attempt to use the portal.

This is everyone's 1 warning regarding this.

I dont know how easy but can the portal just be blocked by an object IG? I know at least one person that hardly reads the forums and would most likely miss such. The person is also 'visiting' from Avlis on Ysgard/Hala.

I agree with CB,either disable it for the time being or block it .

If it continues to be a problem I will disable it. I won't block it as the last time we tried blocking things off to keep players from going into something, they used their nifty little spells to break through 30 tons of rocks, and continued to do so even after the rocks kept re-appearing.

Disabling it in the Database is the easiest and quickest fix.

Issue should be resolved, I asked the Avlis server host and tested myself and had no issues. One recommendation when portalling, to any world though, is if you are with a group, portal one at a time and allow time between portals. I have watched people rush and crowd the portals using them and I have seen this cause various issues.

Thanks for the work you and the Avlis team have done in fixing the portals, however the portal is still blocked off by pillars. Please could you remove the pillars so travel can continue between the servers, thank you.

The pillars will be removed in the fullness of time.

Unfortunately, something else has broken, we are currently working on the problem. Once the portals are working 100% then access will be granted again.
