Yup, I married a geek. And I'm a geek! Yeah! It's 2007 and we're all geeks!

Ok, not exactly "Lion in Winter" but you get the idea.

Oh - I seemed to had forgotten about this one. It is more recent; 2002 if not mistaken. A fishing vacation with my brother to Key West. We caught a lot of these fish on this trip - unfortunatley they were all too big to keep and we had to return them all to the water. Bummer of a trip when you can't catch a fish small enough to keep; huh?

I didn't know there was a size limit on fish. I went to Canada with my dad salmon fishing once and only I caught one. It was a girl so I had to let it go.

One of the many reasons I don't like microsoft :( they bought out FASA and when they did that FASA closed down the Battletech Simulators here in Chicago :( You havn't played BattleTech until you've sat in a Mech cockpit lol.

And I've always been partial to the Wolf Clan logo if we just talkin looks :)

Yeah; most of the time the limits listed for those fish here in the states that have size limits are "...must be at least X inches ..." to be a legal fish to keep. Some fish; like walleye, have slots limits "... must be at least X inches; but no more than Y inches - with the exception that 1 fish over Z inches may be kept as a trophy fish ...".

Thanks to the poplarity of redfish due to a famous chef - they also now had a slot limit - but without the trophy fish stipulation. And we couldn't catch anything small enough to keep.

The correct term there is Feder Rat ...

Aw... I think Manny and Redda are a cute couple! Even if Manny was standing next to a purple spider. :D

It's nice to see the players behind the icons and fun to meet them in RL too. *waves to Druid and Princess of Justice*

With the new year coming up and folks putting in for vacations and stuff, maybe we could pick a central location to meet up? Just a suggestion. With JD and now Manny and Redda, and Leafburner in the Mid-West, how about some place there? Seamus and I wouldn't mind coming in. Besides, I want to visit Chicago again. (My dad is originally from Beloit, Wis, JD and we used to go there in the summer to see my grandmother)

*Tremayne now goes and hides in the corner until called for*

The simulator close down may not have been because of Microsoft. We still had them up here in Michigan until sometime in the last couple years. They were upgraded to use the graphics engine behind Mech4.

And it's FWLM/Marik for me. :P

I'd love to meet up with you other folks. Chicago is only about 6 hours away drive time. However; having been out of work since Nov of last year; extensive travel is a near impossibility right now.

Ya I don't know if thats the exact reason. But shortly after they were bought fasa closed their office out here and the the sims at navy pier went poof :( I just like blaming bill gates for everything lol.

I know Chicago is a major center in the Mid West and I knew that several Hala folks live there.

Are there any Sci-Fi cons planned for next year. Maybe we can meet up there? Just another suggestion.

Hmmmm think we just missed 2 with in the past 2 months. will have to check it out. Though I know several of the players local to me normally wouldn't go to one, we can see about forcing them rofl.
