Faction Bug?

I walked into the Hangate General Store today with my hawk in tow. The Animal Companion was set on Follow (not Guard Me). As soon as we got in the store, I hardly had time to notice the storekeeper was Hostile to me when my hawk attacked and killed him. Nothing else happened. I was still in the entrance door, barely out of the loading screen after transitioning in. Had no reason to kill the poor man other than game mechanics wise.

Was in there to shop... didn't expect to find evil points for me and my party members...

Is this a bug? Advice on what can be done?

Actually, I'm not sure what is going on there. All I can guess is either it is a faction issue or the companion code is so great that your animal companion sometimes does wild stuff when its untrained.

That was accually my bad, accidently modified a global faction, and didnt correct it fast enough. Consider it an ooc thing

Alright... OOC I'll take it.

And I don't wanna complain.. but I'm guessing the evil points we got are OOC too... But since it's ooc, could we get them back, please? Purty pwease?

If not, it's ok... I'm mainly concerned for my party member, as he wasn't even in the store.. and he was afk at that. Heh.

But it would be greatly appreciated if we could.
