By now, most of you know Hala was established by a group of militant atheists (the ones still living in Nagritch). Obviously, "Hala" is short for "Valhalla", so why did the first settlers name their new home after Odin's hall?
The truth is, Hala is only a nickname and most likely would have been meant sarcastically (along the lines of "we are in paradise because we broke away from the gods")
So, what is the REAL name of this group of earthbergs floating just off the mainland?
I'll give the first non-team member to post with the answer a cookie!
Now *that* made for some very interesting reading I only new part of!
Aulus Isle was the "original" Hala where the city of Nagritch was originally built. This isle became split up to the various "burgs" we now see linked together with bridges, during the Great Split at the start of the Blood War.
