2009 Hak Update

These new haks/tlk are not yet required to login, there will be an announcement prior to them going live which I estimate will be around 7 days time.

There will probably also be a new version of the main Hala hak as well, which will be linked as soon as it is ready.

If we downloaded from the Avlis announcement, what do we still need to download now for Ysgard, CD? Just the ones marked Hala/Ysgard?

Try just right clicking them, and "Save link as" they work fine.

errg... just went to extract both of those, and they are corrupt.... same results with the links on the wiki for them too....

The links are correct but the Ysgard.org FTP is always flakey. I've uploaded the needed files to my own ftp and updated the links above and in the Wiki.

And yes, if you downloaded the CoPaP files from Avlis already you only need to download the Hala Files. If you are a current player you only need the files listed above. If you are a new player, you will need to download all the files listed in the wiki: http://wiki.ysgard.org/index.php?title=Required_Files

I will also be posting some optional files in the near future.

Thanks for the alternate links silverdragonams, I was also just getting a webpage (with clicking) or cannot open message (with save target as).

Thanks for the server updating LadyPhoenix77, at least now BST just finished I don't have to allow for the hour difference (I do have to find my VCR remote control which I haven't seen in months though...)

The ysgard.org file links should be working fine now.

Also, links that don't work properly, should now give a proper (if boring) 404 error.

The .htaccess was set up for custom error pages that apparently don't exist. The weird site index you were seeing was a result of that.

Everyone, please keep in mind that with this update I made some major changes in the background. You won't see anything but bugs caused by the changes, but it was something that needed to be done to fix a much larger issue with the servers that was preventing us from expanding. So, please keep the bug reports coming and I'll get through them as quick as I can.

Is the HalaTileset1_0e.hak supposed to be 56ish mb and replace one thats 351mb?

Yup. Some of the content in the "e" hak was removed and will be replaced soon with an optional override.

Not Found
The requested URL /downloads/copaptlk_4_8.rar was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Where can this be located? thats the answer when trying to download it from the wiki....

Not sure why the file was gone, but fixed now. You can also get CoPaP haks from Avlis's site should our downloads not be working for any reason.
