Kessa has been on unemployment for some time now. She is on Federally extended unemployment benefits, though Congress recently voted down continuing the Federal extended benefits. We have gone from over a month left on her unemployment to just a week. While she has been spending a lot of time looking for a job, she has only had one response to a resume in the last year. She even had an interview, but they never called back after that.

About a month ago now, Kessa smashed her thumb really bad in the car door, and I made her go to the emergency room because it really looked like the bone was crushed. After negotiating the bill down and getting the payment period extended as far as they'll allow, we still owe $318.95 and have to pay it within the next two months.

In addition to that, we also still owe the final $76 on the veterinary bill for our cat that died this past summer.

So in all, we have $514.35 going out including the hosting, and only $225 left coming in with roughly only $100 left in our checking account at this time.
