Worried about me? Im fine.

An earthquake has hit one of the large cities here in New Zealand. Last time this happened (same city!) people were a little worried about me. I live in a different city so I’m fine. Haven’t tracked down all my family yet so fingers crossed there. This is looking pretty major though, so not a great time for my little country.

Was just coming on to post to check you were fine. Few Liverpool fans on one of the other forums I frequent live in Christchurch.

Can't even begin to imagine how hard it is for the people there right now.

Dad in Portland, Or. says nothing happened on the coast there, although they did evacuate that area. Portland itself's not right on the coast so would have been fine in any case. He did say the non-stop beach news coverage made a nice change from Libya.
