Got a question for you guys...

So I'm building a DM quest, that has very little to do with exisiting factions and established PC's. It's geared towards lower levels, RPing, and high adventure much in the style of PnP.

Ideally, this will be a regularly DM'd event, with specific PC's who are tied close to the series of adventures. Levelling will be modest, but nothing that spawns will be thrown out to blow you up instantly, unless you are simply meant to run away. That way, you won't have to bother force levelling your character (much) to stay competetive and have fun.

I've spent the last 2 weeks powergaming.

But then again it depends on the timing. Staying up all night for a quest don't sound too great. I'm afraid I likely won't be able to join in, whether I want to or not, but the idea itself is sound~

I would ideally try to pace it...do it weekly or something, for 3 or 4 horus at a time. The framework I have for the event series would make it very ICly for the adventurers involved to set up a time to meet up and go about the 'adventure'. There is no pressing timeline, and no reason why we couldn't run it in small pieces.

The idea is to create a fun and exciting RP focused event series that transcends levels.

I am not going to give away any spoilers for the time being.

Of course ^-^; Well I'd like to hear more about the times of day that you plan to hold these events before I can even consider joining in.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have an alt (I've been trying to make alts but they just haven't worked out) and I'd definitely consider joining your quest idea, provided it's at a reasonable time of day for me.

I think it's a great idea, but a lot would depend on the time of day that the sessions are held and what my main character is involved in at the time..which, currently, is quite a bit.

I think it's a great idea!!! I would definately love to join in on this. I like starting out a new char. because there are so many possibilities, and I enjoy starting out all over again

In the long run, even if your main or whatever doesn't participate in the core DM quest I am working on...he/she will eventually be able to travel there and explore/participate in the areas him/herself. So for whatever reason (timezones, too many characters already, you hate me) you don't want to or can't participate, your character will eventually be able to take part in the additions.

Assuming psion is considered a prestige class...

you could always just go wizard and spam bigby's forceful hands and timestops!
