Ok, so... Not sure if this is a bug or character restore situation. (Also, not sure if it's a Hala or Arkaz situation, or both.)
I just noticed that Einar's entire personal notes have disappeared. I first noticed it en route to the Arkaz portal when I was helping Jark find his way to the Avlis portal (Einar's knowledge of said portal is entirely IC, as he nor I had no idea of it's location until shown IG by another Character.). I went to add Jark to my list of "Einar's met these people and have a name to apply to them.". And found my notes blank.
I typed Jark in, anyway. Helped him find his way to Avlis, then returned to Arkaz. Still nothing.
I've been using that section to keep track of lots of things, especially known names. Trying to keep track of what Einar does and doesn't know...

Your personal journal is on your own computer. Look in your NWN/localvault for einarsverrison.txt

Ah! Didn't realize that!
It's still on my old laptop, then.
Thanks.
Ummm... If I transfer the version from my old laptop to my new one, will that work?

Re: Lost Personal Journal
Yes, you can edit your journal with a text editor too, though you may get some strange formatting and symbols. Very useful when you have an enormous journal and want to do a search for a name.
