Sometime over the next month or two I am planning to update the phpBB forum software that we use here. Many of you may have noticed that I had to switch new registrations to Admin approval. This was done because we were getting absolutely flooded with spambots no matter what I did with the countermeasures. In order to use Google's latest "I am not a Robot" checkbox, we will have to update.
Now I want to be frank here. My motivation to do so has been just about 0. It takes time to maintain these sites, sometimes frustration, and it isn't terribly exciting. I also have motivation issues stemming from a constant fight with depression. I am not looking for sympathy, just trying to temper expectations here.
Also, if you know of anyone awaiting a forum account activation, please PM me the name they registered with.
