That post was made on "Tue Mar 23, 2004", come perhaps up with someting recent. The last thing i remember was a statement that changelings in animals forms like a dog are not supposed to use armors etc.

I read him as saying: If it shows on the model, its there, otherwise it melds into the form. This goes along with his "it looks how it looks" philosophyFinal Shinryuu wrote:From http://www.avlis.org/viewtopic.php?t=28 ... g&start=25Orleron wrote: Whenever you morph, the stuff you have on you is morphed with you. So if you are holding a +4 fire damage sword and you change into a dog, you are now a dog that can swing for +4 fire damage. If he was wearing plate armor, you are now an AC18 dog. That is one difference between this and a shifter/polymorpher. You don't get any special abilities, but you retain the use of your gear as part of your body. If the model you changed into supports the gear, it will show on your avatar.
In other words, only the items that a dragon would be able to wear can be seen worn by Feril. Rings, bracers on her forelegs, ect. The rest is merged into the form, and is still active. If anyone thinks it is odd that her bite deals some heat damage, deal with it ICly.

I don't think we should jump on anyone seeking clairification on rulings OR asking if certain rules are still valid or need updating. No one was being rude or anything. Yes what Orleron says goes (Or as far as I'm concerned, Nob & Arkon) but i also remember seeing a quote from Orleron (IIRC)
there will NEVER be psions or psionics on copap, PERIOD!
Look at us now.
I also remember that we were allowed pregnancies with Dm approval/intervention and now apparently there are no pregnancies, period. Rules aren't set in stone.
It's not a matter of players challanging DMs here, we know what the DMs say, goes. It's just a matter of players asking if a ruleing is still good to go because things do change.

One should think that goes without saying. I suppose a reminder every now and then is helpful.
