Well hell, I hate to seem like I "cried wolf", but things happened IRL a bit faster than I had planned on and I've been able to return a lot sooner than anticipated. Funny how it works like you least expect. 
I didn't expect to see such kind words regarding my departure, thank you all, really. It means a lot.
I plan to be back, but in a limited fashion for sure. Tonight I jumped on just to sit around the Mirtho fire, RP a little and call it a night. I ended up with Xai, Sigo, Seamus and others fighting a shite-ton of spiders, defending Mirtho from a PC drow raid(successfully), then proceeding to get my arse kicked by the same drow a bit later! Yes, the old man got smoked! Overall it was a blast and really got my creative juices flowing again.
Looking forward to seeing everyone here and there, and don't worry, I won't hold against you any of the nice things you said about me.
Except you Arkon and Micah, since you were just being courteous and didn't really mean it. *runs*
