Temple of Odin NPC doesn't take bat wings

I was sure I'd heard of this before but couldn't find it, so here goes:

Last night about 11:00 p.m. EST tried to give bat wings to the NPC at the temple of Odin in Bastion. Everything looked fine but the wings never disappeared from my inventory and I never got anything. I have done the quest before, so the script was the: "Since you have already been rewarded, all I can give you is this". Tried both possible responses, no dice.
