What shop do you want to see?

Talks that may or may not have anything to do with Hala or NWN

What shop do you want to see?

If you could make a shop, what sort of things would it sell?

Remember that storebought items can be +1 at best. =).

Um, assorted paints, interesting types of cloth and material for clothing and canvases. Maybe some homeware?

I have seen an interesting implimentation of a 'pet store' The shop will buy dominated monsters and other players can then buy that monster. The monster follows you round like a normal dominated creature. When you rest the creature is freed and it gets mad and attacks you. Good fun.....

I would like to see a good selection of nicley described food and drink objects. Perhaps that trip to White Woods can be caped off with a bottle of Becky's Bitter Bark Brew.

*scratches her head* you have a whip? :D

Anyways, I actually had somewhat of an image go through this little brain of mine (yes, I have one :D ) of what kinda shop I wouldn't mind seeing. It's kinda big though, with two floors. The upstairs having three or four merchants selling all sorts of things.

Merchant 1: armor and weapons (more exotic ones that you don't usually see in Hala)

Merchant 2: a large variety of scrolls and magic items (similar to the one in Upper Dengar, Rockhome)

Merchant 3: a good variety of cloaks, boots, bracers, clothes and stuff of that sort

Merchant 4: has a great assortment of healing supplies such as healing kits that you can purchase seperately and in stacks of ten and potions, from Cure Minor Wounds to Cure Serious Wounds, along with Invisibility Potions at a more reasonable price... which would really come in handy for low level characters

The second floor would be the area where you can do all of your crafting, quite similar to the one in H.E.A.L. on Avlis. Free to use would also be nice. There could even be a room down there with an alchemist shop in it.

I liked some of the ideas I've read here and elsewhere and thought it would be a good idea to just make one big shop with different merchants in it, for convenience

I guess I did get abit carried away there  . Perhaps a market with merchants like that would be more appropriate and maybe an indoor crafting area.

A cofee shop would be awesome! They could sell regular coffee that gives the drinker short term haste, and decaff that puts the drinker right to sleep.
