Does it apply to towns without guards too ?

Is this the same with Nagritch South camp? The reason I ask is that it is possible to trigger combat with a conversation with one of the NPCs, which makes other NPCs hostile. As you moved to deal with hostile NPCs more NPCs would become hostile untill you have killed them all or run off.

The untrained warrior. If you pick the last option (I will aid you in this nobel quest, die! or something like that...) he attacks. Other options have uses near Tel. Then the little girl takes a swipe at you and you get an evil point

Is this rule currently extended to the castle which has been taken by the fire giants? I assume it is but I just want to confirm.

They were all eaten by a couple REALLY BIG spiders.
Not planing on it right now but it came on mind today. How is it with atacking PCs in cities, should be done only when guards are not in line of sight or not at all since battle cries could be heared, or would guards not care at all in some cities ?
