Gildan goes AWOL!
Gildan will not be in game from Tuesday the 13th of Feb. to Wed. the 21st of Feb., as I will be dogsledding in northern Ontario. Sorry for the short notice; I did not think I'd be able to afford it this year but got a break at the last minute. This means I'll miss the "fragile Ovoid" competition, which I'm very sorry about I still have no IC explanation for Gil's absence; please post suggestions here!

I will inform the border guards of your imminent arrival.
By the way, when you say Northern Ontario, just how far North are you going?

Parry Sound area; the mail run is from Humphrey to Rosseau. So could be more northern, but still pretty cold.
One year we had a border guard who wanted to feel around in the straw of the dog boxes for contraband; she was told that as there were some puppies she might find accidents in there and thought better of it.
My favorite was the year my dad came along and spent the whole drive up to the border telling me how they were going to dismantle the van and turn us back and require masses of paperwork, and we got to the border and breezed through and he turns to me and says: "Sure, it's easy getting IN!"
