For a while now I have been looking foward to LV21 and getting Fearsome Rage (the more asstute out there will alredy be able to tell how this story ends). Well after quite some time, last night it finaly happened. A DM cookie pushed me over the edge to LV21.

I need 25 points in intimidate to select that feet, max at 21 is only 24 *sniff* I have to wait 4 more lvs! *wail, sob, sniff* All I wana do is make goblins wet them selves when I rage :(

Oh the pain, the pain of it all.

On the upside, it's only three levels you have to wait... isn't it?

"only" 3 levels at lvl 21 is a long time(~100K XP or so?). Depends how ya play I guess. Took Wyland a year to get from 18-22, I doubt he will ever see 30.

I feel for ya Zombie. Morgan is still bad ass though, if it makes ya feel any better.

lets the powerleveling begin... ehm... i mean powerroleplaying

((two levels more and i can wear fullplates and super heavy tower shilds and cast arcane spells at same time, YAY))

According to the bookie book Barbarians get a feet every 4lvs, so lv25 for me. I would hate to be the next 20,000 goblins I come accross in game......

That is for a bonus epic feat. You still get a general/epic feat every 3 levels past 21.. So 24 is your next feat selection.

You only get bonus epic feats if you have epic status(epic status on normal classes is level 20, prc's is level 10) in the class, not the character. Ie, barbs get epic feats every four levels after class level 20.

I meant "only" in comparison the four he thought he needed.

And yes, those every four level feats are bonus feats for epic barbarians (ie: if you have more than 20 barbarian levels...)

Speaking of which. Isn't Terrifying Rage an epic barbarian feat? ie: Don't you need 20 barb levels to take it? And... doesn't Morgan have RDD and bard levels?

Yah Zombie. You get feats every 3 levels (21, 24, 27, 30) just for being a character. ~IF~ you had epic barbarian (21 levels of barbarian alone...) you would also get bonus feats at Barb24, Barb28, Barb32, etc...

I don't know how the epic progression for RDD goes though... I am sure though they get bonus feats every 4 or 5 levels of RDD past 10 though...

Well, let's hope the book is wrong...it does say "Epic Barbarian" as a prerequisite. :(

The 'rage' feats of barbarion only require you to have greater rage(?).. Anyways, you only need around 16 levels of barbarian to take any of the epic rage feats, not including other requirements.

No. Terrifying Rage and Thundering Rage require 20 levels of Barbarian.

No, Terrifying rage requires Greater Rage x4 and 25 intimidate. Do not trust what the FEAT delves or what some manual says. Best way to see is to load a level up program and test it out for yourself. The same applies to Thundering Rage, you only need Greater Rage x4 and 25 STR. Mighty Rage requires that you are barbarian level 20.

Other classes feature the same 'things'. Monks can learn ki strike +4/+5 as long as they have 16 levels of monk, or ki strike +3. Bards gain access to Lasting Inspirations at level 20, not epic bard status.

Feh, barbarians and their rage. I suppose it does come in handy when lightning bolts don't even effect those goblin shamans. >=(

Its not always that way, i can take epic weapon specialisation katana without having 21 fighter levels, but to take it i must take a fighter level at this point, so for example wizard now and level 7 fighter when i get to level 25 where my chars get a bonus feat.

Either way things are looking a little grim. I'll just keep taking Bar lvs till I have fearsome rage or I have too many hit points ;)
