Can weapons and armor created by players be traced back to them?
If i make a dagger can someone find out who made it?
Is there some kind of "fingerprints" on how the blade is created?
Some thoughts I had
Low level characters make weapons and armor too randomly for anyone to see a pattern.
or
Low level characters make the same mistakes when creating their stuff so it's easy to see a pattern.
tracking crafted weapons and armor

you know the current issue ongoing about crafting, why not wait till the team decides if the current system is going to be replaced as they would like to do

Doesn't really matter which crafting system is in play, doesn't have anything to do with mechanics. I'm talking purely role playing and if an item crafted by a player can be ICly traced to them.you know the current issue ongoing about crafting, why not wait till the team decides if the current system is going to be replaced as they would like to do

Until a system is set up in which the makers name is put onto the item then no, there is no IC way of knowing who crafted an item.
Exceptions to this would be if the person who has made them agrees (through tells, pms, etc) to allow you to recognize his/her work via certain quirks.
