Paladin's detect evil
Im thinking of playing a paladin and was wondering if there are any ruleings on the use of detect evil.

Leaning strongly towards Odin, but Odin can be a bit of a nasty bugger which will put my character at odds with the clergy, fun fun fun.

decidet myself between tyr and thor.. tyr seemed abit boring and thor seems to have paladins as worshipers in description so went after him.. and there are those nice electrical weapons .. and hammers 
although since someone mentioned it, i am thinking now when hearing Thor of a small grey humanoid inside of a starship.

Alingment wise Odin accepts LG, but his domains aint all that 'paladinish' (War, wisdom, poetry, knowledge). Striding out into the wilderness to bring poetry to the forces of evil...
Forseti, Heimdall and Tyr look to be the best bet all though Heimdall only has LN as worshipers.
It would be fun to make a character and have them 'discover' a deity, but then I would have to sacrifice paladin lvs *sniff*.
