Crafting Ideas

Post by silverdragonams »

Here's my problem: I added a cooking skill to crafting, but its pathetically short on recipes.

What is does/will do is allow you to brew alcoholic beverages and cook foods. Some of these are potions (like the way Strawberry or Pumpkin Wine works on Hala currently), some of these are just foods that have different effects, some things are items necessary for other crafting skills, and some things are purely for role play purposes.

Since you are all a bunch of creative (crazy) people, Help me out!

What would your character like to cook, and what would it do, and what is needed to make it?

I have a couple ideas, I'll post them tonight when I get home from work and can think them through a bit better. Great idea Silverdragonams! Thanks for all your hardwork on the crafting! :D

Hey now, I don't know *any* cheescake that makes you move fast. Maybe the sugar is a rush, sure. But damn, the richness of it......

*nods off to sleep on the couch*

I was thinking some Hala specific recipes would be cool, maybe some food items named after past events? Shaggy muffins? Minotaur soup maybe?

speaking on crafting...

does the crafting system actually work????

I haven't be able to see/do/find anything to help you craft. I read all the ingame books... but for mining... i havent yet seen a pickaxe, a shover or a "smithy hammer"....

huh???

or maybe I am just a confused noob...

We're currently working on putting in a new crafting system. The only skills that are working at the moment are Alchemy and Cooking

So how do we find a list of ingredients...outside of hoping some of the very few that do it are willing to train or are on

Goblin fried chicken.

Take one dead chicken from the chicken farm and search the mod for 11 various herbs and spices.
