Important: 1.67 Update

I will be updating the servers to 1.67 within the next hour or two. Expect some down time.

You will need to update NWN to 1.67 and get the downloads from here:

Hala and Ysgard are now both NWN 1.67

Big props to Silverdragon for all the hard work, LP77 for keeping backups of things we broke, and me for being a genius.

Ihave a question. The missus wants to continue her play on Avlis (1.66) AND play on Hala (1.67). I am trying to update the Mac we have laying around from the "Savage Years" to 1.67. Whenever I try to download the updates, they come out as .txt files. What do I need to do?

As I expect the Avlis team will update their world as soon as possible, I expect that it might yet be a while. Medea wants to play both, but Avlis will, sadly, win the contst of where she plays first (so far....)

Help. I enjoy RPing with the littl woman and refuse to play Avlis to do so....Hala is so much better a fit.

Enough of my sucking up. Answers?

This is from my husband the Mac geek....I mean....um expert...

"Rename the extention of text files you are geting file as ".rar"

Then unzip them with Stuffit expander"

you should be able to drop the text files straight on to stuffit expander. It will sort them into Rar files which you can then unstuff further.

*note* if you have the preferences in Stuffit set to "Continue expanding if possible" it should be one drop from text file to completely unstuffed folder.

Why dont I see Hala on the gamespy listing in the PW Story section?

I am trying to log in, but its no where to be found.

For some reason Hala often does not appear in the gamespy lists. Try entering this is the direct connect part of gamespy

Hala comes up fine for me in gamespy under my history page. Just needed to direct connect for the first time.

I think I might know what the problem is with that... maybe.

Team take a look in the VNC client and double check that each of the servers has the name filled in

It's the first box in the server box. The names should read CoPaP-Hala and CoPaP-Ysgard

And make sure that you have the gamespy stuff checked off.

Well, I got in using the link, but now I have a new problem.

I am missing 4 haks with the prefix of "aurora"
I have checked the Downloads section of the forums. I have seen the thread dealing with these haks. It says they are Avlis Ferrell haks. That would have to be impossible since I have all Ferrell haks and none of them are labeled as "aurora" _anything.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

I am not trying to get snooty with anyone here, but I clearly stated above that I already have the haks for Ferrell. NONE of them are labeled "aurora".

I am not trying to cut anyone down here but the simple fact of the matter is that it seems no matter what CoPaP world I am trying to get on, it takes 5 different locations to DL all the haks for it, and then sometimes they are not even the correct haks.

I NEED AURORA haks. Does anyone know where I can get them?

None of my haks are labeled "Aurora" either, but I downloaded the haks from them links and I can get onto Hala just fine. Good luck.

The second set of haks you need are the new Bioware Tropical Island and Underwater Caves tilesets.

DO NOT download the whole 1.67 update.

Only download the tilesets from Bioware's web site here:
(If you use Windows, you will get an exe file that will put the haks in your hak folder for you)

You will need these within the next few days. Thanks!

Even though you have updated to 1.67, the module is associated with the seperate tileset haks so you still need to get the seperate Tileset Haks for 1.67. If you click the above link, it will let you choose the whole patch, the tileset w/demo, or scripts w/demo.

Download the Tileset w/Demo. Once downloaded you can then run the .EXE file that was downloaded, just remember where you saved it. After that you will be all set to play.

OMG. I would never imagined that something from Bioware wouldnt have just came in the stinkin update.

Why would the creator of the game not just put a tileset in the stinkin update?

I dont get it.
