CA in an attempt to improve my life. I began to work for the Department of Defense Non Appropriated Funds Army Airforce Exchange Service (DoD NAF AAFES).
So yes, I'm now a government employee, and eventually I will be deployed all over the world to support our American troops wherever they are. AAFES is basically the Walmart, Convenience Store, Theater, Bowling Alley, etc. of the military world.
Anyhow, I have been working for the DoD since January of this year, and am accelerating through the ranks fairly quick. I worked for three months as a warehouse laborer, and was then promoted to Military Clothing Supply Store (MCSS) supervisor. It's been one month since then, and I am being promoted again. I will now be the 24 hour shoppette(convenience store) Shift Manager. The benefit of that is that I now make salary income, (and good money too, and good benefits) and I will serve two years here, before being moved. Arkon and T'Holloth know what this is all about. Hehe.
The bad news. I gotta serve my time serving the crappy hours. 11pm to 7am. This means that my normal play times are non existant as I'll be working during those hours.
Thus said, I will only be on during the weekends from 11pm - 7am. Basically you'll be seeing me less during the week but more on the weekends. I wanted to let you the community know what's going on, as I know a ~few~ of you would be wondering, "Where the hell is Charlie?!" Now you know.
