Somthing wierd

Post by albonia »

When i log onto hala i use a small programme called ASK. It is quite usefull i avoid logging onto gamespy and i dont have to type the passwords every time i log onto a server.

Something wierd is going on though i use the following address for hala

nwn.ysgardhala.org:5121

and i get onto hala no problem. For yasgard i use

nwn.ysgardhala.org:5122

which is a differant port number than hala but if i click on the yasgard server it takes me to hala again not yasgard. The address is the one from the news letter so whats going on?

This should not be happening... it is possible that the 5122 loaded hala for some reason.. it's happened in the past.

Someone will check on it.

hehe nice. Epiktetus, my rl buddy wrote that program, I'll let him know it's still being used as he's quit NWN altogether.

I've used it since it was created. I was one of the beta testers :) Excellent little program.

Yep i hate logging onto gamespy and typing the password then you get a letter wrong and you have to retype or you find the curser has moved and you are not even on the right PW :(

It also saves filling your desktop with shortcuts.

There was another program quite like ASK that I used back in the days.. I never really ever had to connect to a PW by using Gamespy. At the moment I'm using ASK and I'm loving it, especially because of the built in log saving.
