Drow Pics

Since I couldn't sleep worth crap and I was in the mood to just save stuff to my computer, I collected 130+ pics of Drow and plopped 'em all in my photobucket. I found most of them at http://www.deviantart.com/ and some of them would make decent portraits, in my opinion.

I don't see why not, I noticed some Boris Vallejo and other artist's prints in the portraits. Even a few comic ones.

I used to know of some protrait convert program but i could never get it to work right. And then everyone else has to download the portraits for them to be able to see em. Too much work i think, even though i use a custom one for Star and have no idea where i got it to link it out..

I find this way to be the easiest for me:

The Avlis Wiki wrote: 1. Place a .JPEG into your "/portraits/" directory where you installed NWN (i.e. C:\NeverwinterNights\portraits\Mypic.jpg). If there isn't a folder
called portraits, create one.
2. Start NWN and either start a new game or load a saved one.
3. Start the console by hitting the tilde key ("~")in the upper left hand corner.
4. Type "Conv" and then Tab which will auto complete the command "ConvertPortrait" (remember, commands are CaSe SeNsItIvE).
5. Add to that the name of your image. For example "Mypic", don't add the extension.
6. This will automatically create all the different files needed. Zip it up and share it with the community, you're done.

I like naming my files " _001_ , _002_, _003_" and so on so that they end up being the very last portraits at character creation.... only because I'm too lazy to look through the portraits. It's convenient though.

Adding these pics to your own client is nice. Just remember, it doesn't mean anyone else on the server will be able to see them if you use them as a character portrait.

Thanks for your opinions though. There is a reason why I don't have many images and descriptions up of him. I'm making one that will -be- him. So, proceed with holding your breath if you wish.
