rockgate portal

trying to portal out of rockgate back to the stairs, and it won't let me. nothing happens when I use the gate, walk through the gate, or click on the gate.

Anyway, might I get a jump back to the stairwell? Thanks in advance,

This has occurred to me before with my main...i thought it was meant to happen? Please advise?

Wait....but i was once there with another Character..and he was able to walk in and out..of the gate...i just wasn't able to...

Let me remind everyone that the staircase is forever and always changing,things are done for a reason.
