When I play Grovel I like to use traps in combat whenever possible, ESPECIALY cvc. It makes me feel all gobbie. I was wondering what the happy fun nongrief way to use them is.
Currently I do not trap things like doors and logs and crafting tools that would hit noncombatiants and I don't trap common walk ways when other people are in the aera. I also pick the traps up when done.

Since a trap only works against a hostile entity, you'd have to already have them set to hostile before using the trap. While a trap will do full damage, there is no current way to avoid this.
So to alleviate any concern. Traps are authorized for use in CvC with no consequence unless it is shown that these traps are being used to intentionally grief.
