Bitten by the duplicate character bug

I seem to have two entries in my server vault with the same name. The one with the higher level is the correct one.

Any way to get the old one deleted?

This should be fixed on the Hala side.

I will also check the Avlis Vault if you've portalled to or from there. Let me know. Same with Tairis.

If you've portalled to any other worlds, please let them know so they can check your Vault for duplicates.

Came from Avlis Sunday night I think.

Looking at Avlis and Hala servers each only have one entry now. Thank you.

Help! I have a 10th level character named Angelica Ebon that tried to portal from Avlis to Hala and can't.

It appears that at some point, I actually created a rogue on Hala with the same name, Angelica Ebon. I have never played this rogue and I doubt she even has any xp. Could we get her deleted so the "real" Angelica can portal over and play?

I hate to disagree with a DM, but unfortunately the issue is not fixed.

When I try to log in Angelica Ebon. of Avlis (10th level), she gets refused. There is a Hala-created 1st level called Angelica Ebon (no "." after her last name) that is in the Hala Vault. I don't know if it's this never-run character or the "." after Angelica's last name that is stopping her.

If it's the never-run rogue, please delete her from my Vault. If it's Angelica's last name having a period (.) after it and she requires a name change that is different from the 1st level rogue, please rename her Angelica ap Ebon

If the punctuation is the problem, please advise. I want to avoid that problem in the future.

Issue has been resolved. Thank you, Lady Phoenix for your help in defining the problem and resolving this situation Hala-side. CPU deleted the offending character Avlis-side. The correct Angel has successfully portaled!
