Disclaimer, : I don't have any political affiliation, and have no full disagreement with alot of political views mentioned above, Though I was asked to throw my two cents in. So here it is.
I was considering all the perfect President's in America's history.
Took me less than one second.
Tossing all the "Did you vote?" Aside, Look around you. As a whole, America is largely under-educated, Malnourished. And spiritually and/or morally defunct.
So I have to ask, should any of the American people really be surprised?
And no, it's not just America, but people always fall to pointing out what's wrong in the world.
You'll always find something to fix, But you'll not always be able to help it.
There is another way people.
Look at yourself,
See anything wrong?
You should.
Maybe fix that first.
EDIT: No, I don't like Bush, I don't like anyone that I have not met. Really, I like few people that I -have- met. In general I think the Human Race is full of rather unsavory people. There are a few exceptions. Friends, Family, etc. That have my respect. So please do not take my words as any kind of political affiliation.
Happy 4th of July

My point is that no matter where you stand on the current U.S. president (my personal preference: Anywhere, as long as you jump up and down real hard...) the Declaration of Independance is a masterful document, and among America's founding fathers were some amazingly brilliant men. To me, patriotism means loving what is wonderful and unique about your country, not thinking it is better than any other country.
