Okay, so I might have a slight obsession. But I'm sure making this thread will be therapeutic for me. I scoured the Internet for Illithids and found a few choice pictures. Click on each one to enlarge it. Enjoy!
[I'm sure I'll add more as time goes by. ]

Grovel puts the P in swimming pool.
Small in stature, large in power, narrow of focus and wide of vision

Heh. As for which one is "my momma"...it's hard to pick just one! Just to make a comment on a random picture, I was completely surprised at the fully armored Illithid fighting with weapons!
If you save them to your desktop and try adjusting the image size...but increasing the size will reduce the picture quality. However, if you tell me which picture you're interested in making bigger (for a wallpaper?), I can try finding a larger one for you.
That would be the 2 illithids getting ready to either feed off of a female; or insert a baby illithid into her - I'm not sue which. And there are 2 other figures in the back ground that are hanging off the caven wall or ceiling.
That's the best I can find for now. Bear with me while I try to find a better one, haha.
Edit: Okay. A bit more searching found that the artist is Todd Lockwood.
This specific piece was made for a book "Plot and Poison: A Guidebook to Drow". There are some zoom-in shots of the picture, which are very detailed! However, I still cannot find a larger version of just the Illithid half of the piece.

The added Drow and inverted headless corpses added a whole new evel to the picture.
Unfoortunately; i was unable to view the pics on the artist website you had linked; and the two other pics at the bottom showed only as a blank square with a small x in the corner. If they were also inteneded to be enlargeable; I could not click for that either.
They appear fine to me. Is anyone else having this problem? As a temporary fix, let me just write out the web address for the artist's site. It's easily browse-able (just go to "Galleries" and then "DnD").
