A Long Farewell.. But Hopefully Not Goodbye
As many of you know,
I am a soldier in the US Army and have received orders to report to Kansas for training and then on to Iraq. I could be absent for up to 16 months.
During training and while deployed my Internet access will be spotty if not non-existent, so I do not anticipate being able to play or participate on the Hala Team.
I would like to take a moment to thank the Hala Team for giving me the opportunity to give back to Hala and hopefully make it better than I found it. To our players, please give the Team your support and continue to make Hala the great place that it is.
Farewell, but hopefully, not goodbye!

Regardless of the game, which matters little in such circumstances. Thanks for doing what you do in life. Though I make no political commentary, To stand up for what you believe in. Is respectable if at the least. Especially with what is laid on the line.
Stay safe out there. I can only pray that you aren't needed in a combative sense. And peace can be found. But if it cannot be such. Than at least may things go as they should.
Stay safe, and God bless.

As I said on IRC, I miss you already! Be prepared for long IC letters from Lexy on the happenings of Hala!

I'll add my best wishes to the growing pile, but also let me give my heartfelt thanks to you for your service and sacrifice. We owe you and those like you a debt we can never fully repay.
Keep your eyes open. Keep your head down, and come home to your wife.
Redda, God Bless you during this difficult time. Remember that your friends will always be there to support you, even those who can't be there in person. Don't be afraid to make use of them.
Best of luck to both of you. We eagerly await news of Manny's triumphant return.
Greg.

Amen to what everyone said. Manny, I want you back in one piece! Seamus has already said what I'd like to, so I second what he says and Redda, you know if you need us, Seamus and I are only about an hour and half away, so if you need us in RL please contact us.
Hugs and kisses from me and sorry I just got back on as you're leaving. Seamus told me you were going.

Not as long as I thought....
Once again the US Army proves the motto "Semper Gumby" "Always flexible"...
Due to a pre-existing back injury, I have been removed from the deployment to Iraq... but the Army has decided that I still need to move to Kansas.
I have returned to Virginia and Redda and I will be packing up the household and moving to the land of tornadoes and flying monkeys by mid month. Hopefully, by the end of the month we will be settled in a new place with plenty of Internet.
Thank you for all of the warm thoughts and wishes!!

Welcome Home(?)
Kansas ...
Besides tornadoes and flying monkey ... what's there? (besides the freaky little munchkin people with the weird hair that I don't want to mention as I don't know if I want to see Redda with an M1 Garrand)
((just how well would a death bunny hold up against an M1?))
(((wishes for a nice fried rabbit dinner)))
