Information about the Artifacts of the Ages
The Artifacts of the Ages may appear to be on the weak side now that you have them, but this is due to the fact that they are supposed to be upgradable. Anyone involved in future long plots of mine who have an artifact of the ages, may request their artifact be upgraded. This can be done twice total. If you decide to give your artifact to another, please inform me through PM as to whom you traded it with. To those that have the robe and the amulet, should you decide to merge it with a holy robe or amulet, you may do so but PLEASE inform me of the process. I will also note that if you do this, the item is no longer upgradable. The artifact will no longer be apart of you, you just will have imprinted it into your item, causing the artifact to vanish from your posession.
If you are unhappy with your artifact, and find another who feels the same way, you are free to trade them. Just let me know with who and which you traded (Yes I plan to keep track of their locations). Anyone with an artifact is likely to be the target of treasure hunters and other forms of dm love, so I hope you are all prepared for that.
If you have any more questions about the artifacts, post them here and I will be happy to answer.

In Avlis; I've had a PC loot about 3 dozen things at one time from me; including +3 items; enchanced armors; rings; weapons ... ect.Samhaim wrote:They are not, and for a good reason. They are supposed to be lootable from your body should a treasure hunter go looking for them.
Should a PC loot an artifact; will it be up to them to inform you they did so - as I'm not sure if anyone gets told who looted items off their bodies while in the Halls here (i know that when I was looted on Avlis; I was not told who did it)?

If a PC decides to loot an item from your body, please let me know who did it. If you dont know who did it, just let me know that it was looted and the possible miscrients that did it. I will also note that once the items upgrade, they will no longer be lootable (except through dm plot or if you are silly enough to put it in a bag)

Maybe I'm missing something here, but, what's putting it in a bag got to do with anything? I've got a couple of cloaks I wear at different times, and, technically speaking, any of them that are in my inventory and not being actively worn must be in my backpack. Why does it matter if it is in a bag inside my backpack? I'm confused...

oooooohhhhh.....
OK, Thanks.
I never knew that. It's a good thing the only plot items I have are a shield and helm (which are almost always equipped if I die)
However, Sam said that these are not plot items, as the idea is to have them be lootable. So does it still matter if they are in a bag, or will it only matter once they are upgraded and become plot items?
