I am wondering if Hala is experiencing severe lag. I played with Ginah for a few minutes last friday and every time i tried playing her the same thing happened.
It was okay for a couple of minutes then severe lag set in and nothing moved. I have not logged in again until today 18:00 GMT with 3 others on. And exactly the same thing is happening play for a couple of minutes then lag and nothing moves. I tried with another char and the same thing happened.
Is anybody else getting the same problem
Is Hala experincing lag

I did a trace route to your last known IP address in the database and found nothing out of the ordinary. The highest latency hop from here is 125ms. More than reasonable since it's the last hop (where your connection leaves your ISP's internal network to the internet). If you did a trace route you'd likely find the same results, but in opposite.
So that most likely rules out internet latency (but not definitely, there could be packet loss at certain times, or something on your ISP's local network that only becomes a problem at certain times, etc.)
Hala server's uptime is at 113 hours. Pretty long, but has been reset since you say you last played. Ysgard shows about 26 hours at the time of this post.
RAM usage is typical, and CPU usage at this time with 5 players on Hala and 1 on Ysgard is below half.
Do you have anyone else on a network with you that also plays NWN? If you have two people on the same network without changing the client port in the INI on at least one of them, you'll get exactly what you described. It'll be fine for a bit, then suddenly you'll lag completely and nothing moves, no one speaks, etc.

Thanks for checking for me. I tried logging on this morning and everything seemed normal. I have no idea what was causing it, but it was strange that i got the same symptoms the only 2 times i logged on last week. It was about the same time and day so there may be something there to do with my ISP.
Nobody is sharing my connection but if it does happen again i will have to run a few tests.
