Silly Alignment Quizzes

Post by Verandis »

When I make a character, I usually take a quick quiz for the character and write that alignment down on the character's sheet so I don't have to think about it.

Some people have been asking for the links, so I am posting them here for anyone who wants them. These are the two I like:

Official wizards test
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20001222b
This one has really fun questions to answer, but sometimes they're not relevant to the character's life- what if the character doesn't have a king or a family?

Another Test
http://www.mjyoung.net/dungeon/javalign.html
Here is the other one I like, which is harder to take, but I feel sometimes the results are more accurate. The explanation for how each is calculated for the second test is found here at the bottom:

Well, I took both tests for my main and they matched what I thought and my character sheet. The thing about these tests is they can't cover every character. The M.J. Young one especially I felt didn't have many responses that were close to fitting the character. Apparently it was a good approximation though. The Wizards one kept asking about friends and family, and my character has none. It's easy enough to think of hypothetical family but she only has contacts, allies, and associates. No friends.

Oh yes, not always a good array of options, hence the miss on poor not quite so eebil Grovel. Just more of a fun giggle.

Your Character’s Alignment

Based on your answers to the quiz, your character’s most likely alignment is Lawful Good.

Lawful Good

Odd that... although I had to replace the words Family and King with God and Church for it to work.

second one was kinda interesting as he is meant to lean more towards good than lawful:

Sulavan's alignment is: Lawful Good

With 12 points towards Lawful
and 28 points towards Good

Total Scores
Good 44
Evil 16
Lawful 36
Chaotic 24

Total Scores
Good 40
Evil 15

Gildan's was spot on; Neutral Good, with 2 points toward Lawful and 26 points toward good. His total scores were: Good 42, Evil 16, Lawful 32, and Chaotic 30. I've not tried the first quiz with him yet. Fun! :D

Hrm.. now that's one I'd not have picked right. I'd have guessed True Neutral. She certainly has darker leanings in the way she interprets the actions of those around her though. I always put that down to just being pessimistic

Well - just tried to use the second of the two tests. But; like some many other things - it crashes MSN for me. Guess I don't get to take that one.

So; I tried the first test again with Ro's 'new' outlook on life. That one was off the mark a touch.

It said LG :P

Of course; some of the questions weren't exacly choice 1; 2; 3 or 4.

And I beleive that with recent events - some of Ro's 'old ways' just may be creeping their way back in.

Not to mention a certain artifact with a corrupting reputation.

Could be quite interesting.
