Seamus and I just got off the phone with Seamus's father. Pap pap (Seamus's Grandfather) has just passed away. He was in his mid 80's.

He was married to Granny for over 50 years. They had six children, one of which is my father in law. He was like a gruff old bear, tough and grumble until you got to know him and saw he had a heart of gold. He made me proud to be a member of his family. He and Granny both. Granny died in 2004.

He loved golf and moved to Florida with my mother and father in law. They played golf a lot. He stayed busy up until he couldn't any more which was a few weeks ago.

I just needed somewhere to write this. To tell someone about the wonderful man who founded my family. To tell someone how much I loved him and was proud to bare his name. I'll miss you Pap Pap. You and Granny will always live on in my heart.

It's sad that he has passed away, but he sounds like a wonderful man who certainly left his mark on your and your family's hearts.

I thank you all for your kind words and thoughts

. Odd thing is I had a feeling something was going to happen the past few days and couldn't put my finger on it. We got the news yesterday and I cried a lot yesterday.

Seamus is doing well. We both are. I will be on later day, but am spending most of the day playing Sims 2

.

You all are wonderful group of people and I love you all dearly. Thank you for being there and being my friends.
